DESCRIPTION:
French black slate and malachite 8 days, time and strike, mantel clock with visible escapement and inset barometer, c1900
CONDITION:
the case finish is somewhat dull, the gold accents still are visible, but there are some edge chips especially at the bottom right corner. The porcelain dials are good, with just a small crack through the 12, and the beveled glasses are okay. The clock back plate is signed Marti behind the bell; the pallets are red jewels. Ht 13.25"
